Meadow ISD is excited to announce Morgan Jackson to our team as the new 2nd grade teacher and Jr. High and High School Cheer Coach. Morgan is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University and brings with her over a decade of experience in UIL cheer choreography, working with 1A through 6A high schools across Texas. Her career highlights include being named the 1A–4A Cheer Coach of the Year in 2021, earning four State Runner-Up titles, and receiving the Best of Category award for Fight Song. Morgan shared that the small-town charm Meadow displayed during the interview process confirmed her decision to become a part of this great community. She most recently served at Southcrest Christian in Lubbock, where she coached cheer, volleyball, and golf. Now beginning her eighth year in education, Morgan has also taught fifth grade reading, sixth grade science, and served as a K–2 reading interventionist. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love for cheer, and is eager to build on the school’s spirit and pride. Morgan is married to her husband Blake, and they have three young boys: Tripp (4), Jett (3), and Hayes (6 months). In her free time, she enjoys cookouts, playing ball, watching sports, and continuing to grow in her cheer choreography work. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Jackson to Meadow ISD and look forward to the energy and experience she will bring to our students, cheer program, and community.💜🤍

Parents, The legislature passed HB 1481 which prohibits students from using electronic communication devices during the school day. Meadow ISD will develop a policy to address the new law. We are very limited in what we can do. The law requires either an outright ban of these devices on school property or that all devices be stored by the school during the day. We are also required to have a policy of consequences for students who violate this. Either way, your children will not have access to cell phones, Apple watches, etc. during the day. Please prepare for this change as the policy will be in effect the first day of school. Thank you.

Meadow ISD is proud to welcome Coach Blake Jackson as our new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach! Coach Jackson brings a strong background in athletics and leadership to our district. He earned his undergraduate degree from Lubbock Christian University and went on to complete his Master’s in Athletic Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. A graduate of Ropes when they were a 1A program, Coach Jackson is excited to return to his six-man football roots. “Being a grad of Ropes led me to Meadow,” he shared. “I wanted an opportunity to elevate my career and get back into the six-man realm.” Coach Jackson enters his 13th year coaching and 9th year teaching. His experience includes: • 4 years as Head Football (six-man) and Track Coach at Christ the King in Lubbock • 1 year at Smyer ISD as Assistant Coach for football, basketball, and baseball • 7 years at Ropes ISD as Head Cross Country and Baseball Coach, and Assistant in football, basketball, and track Coach Jackson is passionate about reviving Meadow’s athletic legacy: "I want to get Meadow back to the powerhouse it once was. I’m honored to lead the boys’ and girls’ athletic programs and excited for what’s ahead.” He is joined by his wife, Morgan, who will also be part of Meadow ISD, and their three sons: Tripp (4), Jett (3), and Hayes (6 months). Fun fact: Coach Jackson is a devoted Christian who loves the Lord and is passionate about all things sports and staying active. Please help us give a big Bronco welcome to the Jackson family — we’re thrilled they’re part of the Meadow community! 💜🤍
